e.l.f. Brushes: Likes Dislikes and Everything Between :)

Hello everyone :) Welcome to my blog!
If you haven't already please add me on my social networks! It would be greatly appreciated :)

This review is going to be on my e.l.f. makeup brushes that I got in a haul. I will be posting the pictures of what they look like also :) So I hope you enjoy!

I am going to start with the only brush that I do not like from my collection and it looks like this:

This is the Flawless Concealer Brush
When I was looking at this product on the internet, the brush looked skinnier and I was so excite because I needed a brush to help me blend in the concealer that I use. So when I opened it up I got disappointed. The brush looks bigger then it looks. Maybe this picture will show you how big it is.

< The picture on your left is me pushing the brush down on a quarter and you can see how big it is when you push it down.

The picture on your right is the brush simply    > just laying next to the quarter and as you can see it is still pretty big. When you put concealer on it is mostly on your trouble spots and also on your under eye area. This brush seems to be too big for the under eye part. I wish they would have made this brush a little bit smaller and also flatter. Its just a one of those brushes that is too big to use on your eye shadow and too small to use for a powder foundation brush. I am going to have to find a use for it, somehow.

Next is going to be my brushes that I like and dislike and that basically cuts them right down the middle for me. So these are what they look like:
#1 - This is called the Mineral Powder Brush. The reason I like and dislike it is because its a really good brush for when you want to put a light amount of powder on your face. Keyword: light. If you are looking for a powder brush that will help give you full coverage, this is not your kind of powder brush. To me I honestly don't care because I like a more natural look when it comes to my skin. So if you are like me you should buy this brush.

2nd - This is Lash & Eyebrow Comb. Honestly I like the brow side it helps me shape my eyebrows and also smooths the hair. The eyelash comb I'm not too excited about. The eyelash comb I have had before had sharp points. So when you do comb your eyelashes it would really separate the lashes.

1st - Is the Mascara and Shadow shield. I like using this tool but I am so scared that it will break in my makeup bag. As you can see, the picture on the right, that I am bending the tool and I'm always afraid that it is going to snap right at the end of the rubber. If you are not a cautious person or you just don't want to deal with a fragile tool. This is not the Tool for you. I don't have anymore cons about this tool. Yes it is easy to clean and easy to use :)

And now the brushes I love and would buy over and over again!
Here is what they look like:

The small brush is what I got for the Lock and Seal dropper and It works great for that product.
The other three are basic brushes (starting from the left). The Small Stipple brush I use for my Blush and it works wonders. It gets the right amount of product on the brush and the brush is soft. Next is the Angled Blush Brush. Obviously I don't use this for my blush but I do use this for my bronzer. It is perfect for a powder bronzer, the angle helps with my contouring on my cheek bones :) The last one in this picture is the Small Angled Brush and this is perfect for my gel eyeliner I use. It gives you that perfect wing and also it gives you a perfect line.

The last two brushes I use for my eye shadow  The first one is called the Contour brush and I use this for the crease of my eye to give me that smoking eye look. It is the perfect size for that and it never lets me down. The last one is called the Eye shadow "C" Brush and I use this for the base of my eyelid and it is awesome I have never had anything bad to say about this brush.

Well that's it I didn't want to go on rambling so I hope I didn't bore you. Please keep in touch with me by liking my page or following me on any of my social networking pages :)

Thanks for reading

  1. Wow! I really found your experiences with the products helpful. As well as the pros and ons of each brush, this helps me really narrow down exactly what I want to buy. Thank you so much! This was so helpful.
